We bake new batches every week, ensuring that your furry friend always receives a treat that’s as fresh as possible. Plus, we add an extra crunch by baking every batch twice. This process not only guarantees a delightful crunch but also keeps us stocked with new doggie biscuits for all our house, markets, and online sales. And the best part? We don’t have to use any nasty chemicals that may harm your dog.

Dog Biscuits made from farm-fresh produce.

“Farm-to-table” perfectly describes our home-baked dog biscuits. All the ingredients we use come from local farms and suppliers. For many years, farmers in Malanda have grown their produce in the rich, fertile soil of the region. Being close to these farms allows us to select the finest ingredients. By using fresh, high-quality products, we craft the healthiest and finest treats for dogs.

Things Zoe’s won’t do with Dog Biscuits.

At our company, we avoid making fancy-looking dog biscuits with sugar coatings and artificial colourings because we believe in prioritising your dog’s health. By steering clear of these harmful sugars and food dyes, we help prevent potential skin issues in pets. Moreover, we’re committed to using only top-quality ingredients in our treats, ensuring that you can trust what you’re giving your dog.

What Dogs See

Additionally, it’s important to note that dogs perceive colours differently than we do; they only see shades of yellow, blue, and grey. Consequently, many dogs tend to reject those fancy biscuits that appeal to human eyes but are not to their tastes.

Packaging

Furthermore, we choose not to use printed packaging. We believe that dressing up our dog treats in wasteful and expensive bags is unnecessary. Instead, this decision allows us to keep our packaging costs low and focus more on investing in quality ingredients to create healthier dog biscuits.

How Many Doggie Biscuits Can They Have?

Since our dog biscuits are a treat, we recommend giving your dog only one or two per day. When you enjoy your morning or afternoon tea, offer them a Zoes’ dog biscuit as a healthier choice.

To maintain a balanced diet for your dog, start by calculating all treats into their daily intake. You should ensure that their weekly food consumption does not exceed 20% of their ideal body weight. For instance, if your dog weighs 10 kilograms, they should have a weekly diet of 2 kilograms of food.

This calculation breaks down to 286 grams of food each day. Consequently, remember to deduct the weight of any daily treats from their main meal to ensure they receive the right amount of nutrition.

Being diligent with their food is crucial; therefore, homemade dog biscuits and treats significantly contribute to keeping dogs within their optimum weight range.

Research shows that when dogs maintain their ideal weight, they tend to live longer and experience fewer health issues. However, please note that the above calculations should be used only as a guide. For instance, factors such as your dog’s breed, age, and activity level can influence the right amount of food.

Additionally, the type of food you choose also matters. If you’re uncertain about what weight is appropriate for your dog, it’s best to consult your vet. Finally, monitor your dog’s weight regularly and adjust their diet as necessary.
